
Still continuing with the most recent series, but I replaced the silver screws with black tacks and black staples. The staples make it easy to manipulate existing lines to extenuate the form. Also, the plaster board is an interesting surface to work on. Next I will work directly on the wall. But, I don't think the painted uniform background is working as well as the more active red background of my last piece. Although, I like that the white space isn't static.

This piece is the largest I've worked and it is directly on the wall. I just started it today so there's a lot to be done. So far, it has one string that runs from the wall into the viewer's space. Not sure if I like that yet. I think it was a mistake not to work from a source so I'm probably going to take it down and start again. But before I do that, I'll play around with it a little more.
