Spazuk talks about how the artist is only as free as his mind and the importance of spontaneity and juxtaposition. Independently his small drawings are abstract, yet when placed together they create a photo realistic composition. His process is fascinating. To take something as uncontrollable as fire and harness it for drawing physically demonstrates his belief in allowing the medium to have just as much control as the artist.
